To date we have achieved several landmark projects enhancing Markethill though economic, social and environmental developments.

These include:

  • Assisting in the establishment of Markethill Business Centre with 18 business units on the former Spence Bryson factory site, Fairgreen Road Markethill.
  • Environmental improvements to The Square and Main Street Markethill, including new paving and tree planting to the main street and most recently the reinstating of a replica of the town's water pump, Keady Street.
  • The restoration and extension of a derelict property, the Johnston House, Fairgreen Road, to provide two shop and two office spaces in Markethill.
  • The formation of Community Interest Groups.
  • The restoration of The Old Courthouse, Markethill, as a neutral venue.
